BOOKING PROCEDURE AND CANCELLATIONS Pick up from our office a registration form and personal bio-data form. Fill them out and return them for processing with Administrative fee of N10,000.00
We hope to establish an on-line banking account with Bank PHB, which means you will be able to pay us even if you are not in Lagos . We will keep you posted of the account details. In the meantime, our Bank PHB account no. will be forwarded to you upon contact and registration for payment.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required upon confirmation of a booking and final payment is due 6 weeks prior to departure. Any person making a booking him or herself, or on behalf of other persons will by the making of such a booking assume personal liability for all costs involved.
If a booking is cancelled less than 6 weeks prior to departure, the company retains the full deposit and in addition a cancellation fee will be made as follows:
-less than 35 days notice – 30% of total tour cost. -less than 28 days notice – 50% of total tour cost.
-less than 14 days notice – 100% of total tour cost.
In the event of the company canceling a tour or cruise, which it shall be entitled to do so due to weather conditions, or government policies or any other factors which may be totally beyond our control, before the scheduled departure date, the full amount paid by the customer will be refunded to him.
INSURANCE
Clients are strongly recommended to ensure that they are covered by Insurance relative to medical costs and personal accident. Insurance application forms are offered to all our clients.
HEALTH
Malaria is prevalent in Nigeria , so that prior to departure, we urge you to consult your physician as to the appropriate anti-malaria tablets you will need. You must be in good health to go on a tour, especially one lasting 10-15days (appx. 2 weeks). All health related documents and certificates must be brought up to date prior to departure.
LUGGAGE Each person is allowed one medium sized suitcase, and one airline type handbag as hand luggage. Soft bags are recommended. It is strongly advised that all valuables (money, jewellery, etc) are to be handed over to Delada Security Department for keeps in our vaults. Keep your eyes on your luggage all the time.
PRICES/QUOTES & ITINERARIES All prices and quotes are in Naira (starting from January 2008) and subject to periodic review and alteration without notice. For all our foreign packages, payment will be in USD and subject to a 30 day review based on the prevailing conditions of the exchange rate. Our scheduled itineraries are based on current knowledge of attractions based on our findings and feasibility. From time to time, these have to change due to factors which most times are totally out of our control. In such cases, we will endeavour to offer alternative itineraries as close to the original as is possible.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
The Onus is upon the client to ensure that passports, visas, re-entry visas as well as health and insurance documents are procured and valid prior to departure.
RISK MANAGEMENT/RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE
Delada's Orbit for Holidays & Tours Ltd, assumes no liability for damage, loss, accident, delay, or irregularity which may arise from a defect in any vehicle, nor does she assume liability for losses, or additional expense due to delay or change in services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine, or other related causes. This is simply because non of these incidents is unmanageable and therefore requires a lot of perseverance and patience to resolve. We humbly request your understanding of such incidents and bear with us during possible and unavoidable delays.
PACKING LIST
Kindly ensure that all clothes items are clearly marked with name tags so that it is easily identified after laundry. Clothes items should comprise light rugged items for the day and warm sweaters for the deceptively cold evenings. Toiletories and footwear are essential too. Any special medication with directions is to be brought to the notice of management before departure.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Your tour is however not complete without a pair of binoculars and a camera (preferably digital). Everyone is allowed to take photographs of all interesting attractions as they deem fit. Excluded in this list are special sensitive installations such as Military Bases, Prisons, Presidential Villas, etc to mention a few. It is only proper to always seek advice and clearance from the tour organizers to be on the safe side.
SHOPPING
An integral part of any tour and the most rewarding depending on your budget. Everyone loves to shop. 2 days will be set aside for this venture to enable all sightseers gather memorable souvenirs of their favorite attractions.
